Tree- these take a year and a half to harvest fruit the first time, but rewards are great if you have a seedmaker. Also, don't plant any plants directly next to a tree, they'll die.

Stem- these crops are grown on stems like tomatoes.

Root- These are grown in the ground and you have to dig them up. Example: carrots, sweet potao, turnip
